  1. I want to go to my university’s society events to meet people and socialise rather than get the event over with. I’d like to leave with a memory, experience and an acquaintance or perhaps a friend.

  2. I wanna stop feeling intimidated by eye contact (especially from girls I find attractive) and not get too anxious that I become unable to find a solution when someone starts acting indifferently to my attempts at having a healthy and interesting conversation.

  3. I want to wipe out that ‘Iwanttodie Iwanttodie Iwanttodie’ Mantra off my head when an awkward silence comes in and I want to make more friends. I swear I will at least try to hold eye contact more than normally I would (even though I already know I will start looking at something else just after 2 secs)

  4. My goal is to have a conversation with cashiers or workers that I come into contact with on a daily basis. Usually, there’s an awkward silence, so trying to have some small talk feels like a doable step.

  5. These articles and emails are interesting to read but sometimes I feel that my situation is not as bad as I thought or maybe it became better. I usually don’t step forward and talk but when someone comes to talk to me, I don’t get nervous either.
