There are loads of courses and books out there on how to socialize. Some of them are really good, we studied many of them when we created this course. But as soon as I entered a social situation, when it really mattered, my mind went blank.
These books and courses were just “more information”. They didn’t help me when I was standing eye to eye with someone and was supposed to interact with them.
Self-help books can even take you further away from reality.
